Last updated: 5 July 2026
1. Who we are
Tecslas Solutions ("Tecslas", "we", "us") is a product studio based in Davanagere, Karnataka, India. This policy explains how we handle personal data on our corporate website tecslas.com and describes how privacy works across the products we build.
For any privacy question, write to tecslassolutions@gmail.com.
2. This website (tecslas.com)
Our marketing website is intentionally lightweight. When you simply browse tecslas.com:
- We set no advertising cookies and run no cross-site trackers.
- There are no sign-up forms or accounts on this site.
- If you email us using a link on this site, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send, and use it only to reply to you.
- Our hosting provider may process standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and user-agent) to serve pages securely and prevent abuse.
3. Our products
Each Tecslas product collects and processes data specific to what it does, and is governed by its own privacy policy published within that product:
- Ootify — QR dine-in ordering, end to end. See the Ootify website for its product-specific privacy policy.
- Filmozo — Something cinematic is in the works. Privacy details will be published when the product launches.
Where Tecslas Solutions determines the purpose and means of processing personal data for a product, we act as the Data Fiduciary for that product under the DPDP Act.
4. The data we may collect
Across our website and direct correspondence, this is limited to:
- Contact details you provide — e.g. your name and email address when you write to us about partnerships, careers, or support.
- Message content — anything you include in an email or enquiry.
- Technical logs — basic request metadata retained briefly for security and reliability.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
5. Why we process it (legal basis)
Under the DPDP Act we rely on:
- Consent — when you voluntarily contact us, you consent to us using your details to respond.
- Legitimate uses — keeping our services secure and complying with applicable law.
6. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our instructions (such as our website host and email provider), and with authorities where required by Indian law. We never rent or sell your data.
7. Data retention
We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and to meet legal or record-keeping obligations, then delete it. Server logs are short-lived.
8. Your rights
As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act you may:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction or erasure of your data;
- Withdraw consent at any time;
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights; and
- Raise a grievance with us (see below).
To exercise any right, email tecslassolutions@gmail.com from the address you contacted us with, so we can verify and locate your records.
9. Children
This website is intended for a general business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of children under 18 without verifiable parental consent as required by the DPDP Act.
10. Grievance Officer
If you have a concern about how your personal data is handled, contact our Grievance Officer at tecslassolutions@gmail.com(subject: "Privacy grievance"). We acknowledge grievances within 72 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

We may update this policy as our products or the law evolve. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
